No forms. No mailing list.Analytics only if you say yes.

This site does not ask you for anything. Here is exactly what is measured, what is stored, and how to have it removed.

FJ Foundry is a growth marketing practice run by Fareed Jacob Amiry from Toronto, Ontario. This page explains what happens to information when you visit fjfoundry.com or get in touch. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

This site has no sign-up, no account and no contact form. It does not ask you for anything. The only personal information I hold is what you choose to send me by email, and anonymous, aggregated measurement data about how the site is used, which is only collected if you accept cookies.

Analytics and cookies

The site loads Google Tag Manager, which is used to run website analytics. Analytics tags are governed by Google Consent Mode. Until you make a choice in the cookie banner, analytics and advertising storage are denied by default, so no analytics cookies are set.

  • If you accept, aggregated measurement data is collected: pages viewed, approximate region, referring site, device type and broad behaviour such as scroll depth.
  • If you decline, that measurement does not run and no analytics cookies are stored.
  • Your choice is remembered in your browser so the banner does not reappear on every visit.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will make the banner appear again.

Server logs

Like any website, the server that hosts fjfoundry.com records standard request logs, including IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent. These are kept for security and troubleshooting and are not used to build a profile of you or combined with anything else.

If you email me

When you email hello@fjfoundry.com, I receive whatever you send: your name, your email address and the contents of your message. I use it to reply and, if we go on to work together, to run that engagement. I do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

Who else sees it

Google, as the provider of Tag Manager and analytics, processes the measurement data described above. My email and hosting providers process messages and requests in the ordinary course of delivering those services. Beyond that, I do not share your information with anyone unless a law requires it.

Some of these providers operate outside Canada, which means data may be stored or processed in other countries and can be subject to the laws of those countries.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA, you can ask me what personal information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw consent for its use. Email hello@fjfoundry.com and I will respond within thirty days. There is no charge for a reasonable request.

Client work

The case studies on this site describe work done for clients. Where a client has not agreed to be named, the brand is anonymised and commercially sensitive figures such as media spend are withheld. Client data gathered during an engagement is governed by the agreement with that client, not by this page.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
